We are pleased to announce that the Research Group on Compositional Data and Restricted Sample Spaces (RGCODA-RSS) of the University of Girona (http://www.compositionaldata.com/) organizes the session "Compositional Data Analysis and Related Methods" within the framework of the 5th International Conference of the ERCIM Working Group on COMPUTING & STATISTICS, 1-3 December 2012, Oviedo, Spain. http://www.cfe-csda.org/ercim12/

You are invited to submit an abstract for consideration. All accepted abstracts will be published in printed conference books/proceedings. Suitable papers will be considered for publication in special or regular issues of CSDA.

The meeting will take place jointly with the 6th CSDA International Conference on Computational and Financial Econometrics (CFE 2012).

IMPORTANT DATES: SEP. 5, 2012: Contributed abstract submission.
SEP. 15,2012: Acceptance decision (At most two weeks after submission).
SEP. 15,2012: Presenting Authors Registration. DEC. 1-3, 2012: Conference.
FEB. 15, 2013: (optional) Submission of full papers (Papers can be submitted at any time).
JUN. 15, 2013 (tentative): Notification of decision. DEC. 15, 2013 (tentative): Publication of the CSDA Special Issues.
