Girona is located 100 Km. from Barcelona, 40 Km. from Costa Brava and 60 Km. from the border with France.

 

AIR TRANSPORT

It is possible to arrive to Girona from Girona Airport or Barcelona Airport.

Girona Aiport:


Located 12 Km. from Girona. It links to several European countries and Spanish capitals. Several low cost companies operate there.

There is a bus departing every hour, making the trip from the airport to the central bus station in Girona, located in the city center, next to the train station, and 15 minute walk from the Conference.

Barcelona Airport:


Located 116 Km. from Girona. Girona can be reached by bus or train, with a change at Barcelona Sants station.

BUS:

There is a bus line that runs direct from Barcelona Airport to Girona bus station. Offers three daily departures: 8:30, 14:15 and 21:00 h.

RAIL:
The RENFE train leaves the airport every thirty minutes from 6:00 to 23:44 pm and takes about twenty / thirty minutes to get to Barcelona city.

RAIL TRANSPORT

The RENFE train station is located in the city center and 15 minutes walk from the Conference.

ROAD TRANSPORT

The main communication route from Girona, a part from N II, is also AP-7. There are two exits into Girona: Girona South (Exit 7) and Girona North (Exit 6).
The recommended exit to reach the Conference venue is the Exit 6 (North).

Eurolines and Alsa operate international transport. The arrival point is the bus station in Girona.
