Workshops will be devoted to the exchange of practical experiences in any of the conference topics: intervention, innovation and research. A maximum of three (3) experiences will be presented by authors in the format of informational workshop and/or experience formalization workshop. Proposals must include active participation of the audience.

Workshop proposals will be reviewed by the scientific committee, which, if necessary, will consult with external specialists to define the interest and relevance of proposals.

Authors and speakers will be notified of acceptance and possible modifications in order to adapt to the general guidelines.

Workshops will have a maximum duration of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Workshop Proposals

Workshop proposals must be submitted to the Conference Secretary by August 15, 2009, through the event management platform ConfTool, available on this web site.

Proposals will be reviewed by two members of the organizing committee and the scientific committee. Selections will be published at ConfTool on October 5, 2009.

Accepted proposals will be published on the conference website starting on January 10, 2010. Participants may check them in advance in order to facilitate the discussion.

Proposal Guidelines

Workshop proposals must summarize works or experiences on the conference topics. Maximum length: 800 words.

Proposals must include the following sections:

  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Brief CV of author(s)
  • Affiliation
  • Conference topic
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Technical requirements
  • Questions or issues for discussion

The following features will be specially considered:

  • Clear definition of workshop objectives and methodology
  • Content coherence
  • Presence of innovative elements
  • Need, relevance and interest of the proposal
  • Interest for training and outreach
  • Statement of issues for discussion

Accepted proposals will be included in the conference programme upon registration of at least one of its authors.

Participation certificates will be issued only to registered participants and delivered at the end of each workshop.

Full papers must be submitted to the Conference Secretary no later than November 30, 2009, through the event management platform ConfTool (as .doc, .pdf, .rtf. or .zip file attachment), which will be reviewed by the conference scientific committee.

Follow the format guidelines.

Full papers must have a maximum length of 3,500 words, or the equivalent to 10 DIN A4 pages, including references, images and charts.
