The CLIMSEAS Project invited to participate in the EU-Russia Researchers' Mobility Forum held in Brussels.
The Forum, dedicated to mobile researchers, was held on September 25, 2014 and investigators and officers of the European Commission, the Research Executive Agency and the European Science Foundation accounted for the approximately 80 participants.

The CLIMSEAS program has been included by the University of Girona in the 2013 report on “the research and innovation indicators of Catalan public universities”.
The report was elaborated by the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP) in representation of eight Catalan universities.The event was attended by the Secretary of Universities and Research of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Antoni Castells, and the Secretary of ACUP, Francesc X. Grau.

The event is held simultaneously in more than a hundred European cities to bring the public closer to science and researchers.

A workshop on Rapidly Changing Large Lakes and Human Response will be held in Teheran in January 2013
The workshop, organized by Iranian National Institute for Oceanography (INIO) and ponsored by The International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA) is co-organized by S. Leroy, the CLIMSEAS coordinator at Brunel University.

The 7th edition of the Session on Lakes and Inland Seas at the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union has been celebrated in Vienna
The session, which was held the 8th of April, has had the largest participation among the other sessions of the Section of Ecohydrology, Limnology and Estuaries. It has accounted with the participation of several CLIMSEAS members that have been presented new results obtained within the program.

Abstracts for the EGU session on Lakes and Inland Seas can still be handled to the conveners during this week.
After official deadline for abstracts submission, success on the number of applications to the EGU session on “Lakes and Inland Seas” definitively allows the session to be held. However during this week conveners are still allowed to submit new abstracts.

Presentation of the CLIMSEAS project at the UdG
The CLIMSEAS project was officially presented in Girona on 7 November 2010 with the participation of the vice-rectors for Research and for International Policy of the University of Girona, the Illustrious Consul of Russia in Barcelona, the coordinators of the two Russian centres and the coordinator of the program. The presentation was covered by different media.

The CLIMSEAS project is presented to Russian visitors at the UdG
About thirty teachers from the autonomous community of Khanty-Mansiysk from the Russian Federation have visited the UdG to take a closer look at UdG curriculums, its evaluation system, teaching methods, etc. so as to improve programmes in their own universities.
