Monitoring and modeling physical processes in coastal lagoons; sediment dynamics in coastal zone and lagoons.

Active research projects:

2009-2011. Scientific supervisor of the Russian team in the international BONUS ERA-NET project “Advanced modeling tool for scenarios of the Baltic Sea ecosystem to support decision making – ECOSUPPORT”.

2010 – 2011. Scientific supervisor of the Russian team in the international ARTWEI Project “Actions for the Reinforcement of the Transitional Waters’ Environmental Integrity” (No WTPB.02.01.00-72-009/09), part-funded by the South Baltic Cross-Border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013.
