Research line  initiated since 2001, based on previous investigations which it was analysed children and teenagers welfare ( between 12 and 16 years old) through an adaptation of Catalan and Spanish languages tools: SLSS (Huebner, 1991), MSLSS (Huebner, 1994) and BMSLSS (Seligson et. al, 2003).


Currently it is used in a common way the satisfactory scale, the staff Well-Being Index (PWI-A), the Cummins (or the PWI-SC de Cummins & Lau), with the presence of other psychometrical tools, which expand the interest from 8 to 18 years old.


Teenage aspirations are taken into consideration because of its importance in the future within the research line  having reflected in different international publications.

Catalan population is being explored with another sort of  subjective and psychological well-being scales.

Within the perspective of complexity theories, it has developed nor-linear analysis in Research line.

We have worked in psychosocial indicators related with subjective well-being and quality of life for children, teenagers and their pertinent families, having in mind the importance of social agents opinions.
